Message from the Executive Director

2020 has been an eventful year, with a number of highlights and challenges that have been triggered by the spread of Covid-19. The resilience of the organization was tested on several occasions, however, the teams’ unity and commitment was unwavering, as they remained fully committed to the mission of Hakijamii. We ensured continuity of our work even in areas that are very marginalized especially during the pandemic. Despite the rising numbers of covid-19, we re-programmed our activities and adhered to the requisite MOH guidelines to ensure the pandemic does not marginalize the communities further.

We hope that you will enjoy reading this newsletter and be on the know of our Human Rights work in 2020.
